Anzac day

We have been learning about anzac day.
This is what I have learnt.....

• It is time to remember the people who fought around the world.
• 2,721  people died and 4,725 got wounded.
• The anzac's fought in 1915.
• The anzac's landed in the wrong side of the hills.
• anzac day is on the 25th of April.
• The anzacs stayed in Turkey from april to December (eight months)

We researched these facts on the computer.

Here is my caves assessment. In the first box is what I already know and in the second box is what I have learnt from my amazing trip to Waitomo Caves.

Term 1 Reflection

This term I have enjoyed being a year 4 leader because I got to be in charge of the assembly and get to be a role model in front of the class.
I have also enjoyed going to waitomo caves and learning facts about interesting stuff.
I'm proud of my maths because I had moved to a higher group.

Next term my goals are.....

• Putting more facts in my paragraphs.
• Answering the questions in my grid faster.
• Being a good class mate to others.
