Exploring sound

Room7's topic for term 2 is exploring sound.
This is what I already know......
  1. sound travels in waves.
  2. Instruments are shaped differntly to make different sounds.
  3. When you blow the air goes through holes to make sound.
What I want to know......
  1. I want to know how the music goes through water because sometimes you can haer it under the water?
  2. How does the music get through the instrument so fast?
  3. How does the music get made high and low?
